Nicaragua

Faith, Travel

I was recently blessed with the unique opportunity to visit the site of Katie Beth Carter Memorial High School in Tomás Borge, Nicaragua. Katie Beth was a childhood friend of mine who passed away last September.

Her life and legacy is living on in so many ways and this new school-building project is no exception. I was able to briefly meet some of the children from the remote village and see the amazing need that is being met in their community through this school. These kids were so excited to have visitors and loved showing us around their home. They were vibrant and happy and being with them made my heart smile. This was such a special experience that I will truly treasure for a lifetime.
